IL LANCIATORE DI COLTELLI
The mirror that unites two opposite worlds in a highly evocative element.
The traditional wall mirror is revisited and given a new significance. The world of the circus, with its tricks and performances, enters the everyday living space through IL LANCIATORE DI COLTELLI ("the knife thrower"). Extra clear crystal sections are perpendicularly inserted into the reflecting surface, as if they were knives thrown around a human shape. Backlit by a warm LED light, the details that adorn the wall mirror create a suggestive effect, recalling the thrills of a juggling performance.
the artisanal soul
In order to emphasize the core design lines, IL LANCIATORE DI COLTELLI has a front and back structure of solid wood which incorporates and protects the reflecting surface. The wood is used with high thickness, in a single piece and with refined surface finishes in order to enhance the particular features of walnut and oak wood.
the sparkling essence
The details, backlit by warm LED light, are made using extra clear crystal sections with heads finished at 45 or 90 degrees. They create a suggestive effect and make the object more than a simple mirror, an item of decoration that leans against the wall at a 5-degree angle.

Is the wood used solid?
LANDO products are made entirely of solid wood, except for some parts made of wood veneer due to surface stability issues (solid wood is a ‘living’ material and therefore susceptible to slight movements depending on the environment in which it is placed).
